2023 Client Impact Highlights

Small Sums

Small Sums blew away their 2023 target and outfitted over 1,000 workers experiencing homelessness as well as being approved as a Meets Standards organization for Charities Review Council!

Redesign Inc

Redesign Inc has been leading the redevelopment process of the Coliseum, an 85,000 square foot building on lake street. Redesign is partnering with three local Black-owned small businesses to be both tenants and long-term owners in the Coliseum Building. Through this partnership, the voices of people of color will be at the table making the key decisions on how this community moves forward.

Plum Blossom Strategy

Dr. Rose Wan-Mui Chu of Plum Blossom Strategy successfully completed the Teacher Recruitment and Marketing Campaign contract 2021-22 establishing the Elevate Teaching movement.

Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation

Saint Paul and Minnesota Foundation, as of May 15, 2023, has awarded a total of $7 million in state funding to nonprofits and businesses throughout Saint Paul via the East Metro Main Street Economic Revitalization Program. 

The Improve Group

In August 2023 the Improve Group officially became a worker-owner cooperative after purchasing the business from Founder Leah Goldstein Moses.

Reviving the Islamic Sisterhood for Empowerment

In 2023 Reviving the Islamic Sisterhood for Empowerment celebrated the passage of all three of their policy priorities; Menstrual Equity, Combating Hate, and Restore the Vote. Rise also helped support the Nonprofit Infrastructure Grant Program (NIGP) bill.

Park Nicollet Foundation

Park Nicollet Foundation celebrated their 50th Anniversary supporting hundreds of programs across Methodist Hospital, Park Nicollet clinics & specialty centers, local public schools, and the greater Twin Cities!

Neighborhood Development Center

Neighborhood Development Center will be distributing $72 million in grants from the state funded MN PROMISE Act program to support communities that have been adversely affected by structural racial discrimination, civil unrest, lack of access to capital etc.
